We are witnessing a landmark moment in Telugu Cinema history.Prince Mahesh Babu’s high voltage action entertainer Dookudu has crossed Magadheera as the highest grosser of Telugu Film Industry. This has officially been declared by Prince Mahesh Babu himself on his twitter account yesterday night.
He tweeted “It’s official.Dookudu is d highest grosser of the Telugu film industry….unbelievable…..”. Dookudu has been registering stupendous collections right from Day 1 and the movie is still going strong in many areas. Prince Mahesh Babu’s charm,coupled with some superb comedy from Brahmanandam and M.S.Narayana, is attracting family crowds in a big way.
Ever since it released in 2009, Magadheera has been the gold standard of the industry in terms of collections and commercial performance. Now Dookudu has raced past Magadheera after a gap of almost three years. Sreenu Vaitla has directed this movie on 14 Reels entertainment banner. Samantha paired up with Mahesh Babu for this movie and Thaman composed the music.
